The Masters in Banking and Quantitative Finance responds to the challenges of modern finance: in today’s world,complex and multidisciplinary quantitative techniques are needed to make financial decisions based on well-informed analysis.

Objectives
The main objective of the Masters is to create professionals competent in evaluation, management and advice within the financial sphere.
Specifically, the postgraduate will:
• Develop the use of advanced quantitative and computational techniques that enable complex decisions to be made in an optimal and efficient way.
• Understand the functioning of the financial system: the different alternatives for resource allocation, the valuation of assets and financial risk management, and their place within the economy as a whole. In particular, the student must be able to identify and anticipate relevant economic and financial problems, discuss the alternatives to solve them, select the most appropriate ones and evaluate their results.
• Be competent in research tasks which provide optional entry to the research phase of the Doctoral programme, profiting from the research potential of the varied team of professors involved in this inter-university programme.
Requisitos
* § Academic records and curriculum vitae.
* § Two presentation letters signed by the lecturers of the degrees or previous qualifications, or of any other academic programme.
* § Applicants having taken the Graduate Management Administration Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) will be given preference.
* § Proof of funding
* § Students are required to commit themselves full-time to the Master.
* § Almost all subjects/courses will be taught in Spanish.
* § An additional requirement is to prove a sufficient level of written and spoken English (it is highly recommended that the student have a score higher than 550 in the TOEFL, a grade A in the Cambridge First Certificate, or higher than 6 in the IELTS of the British Council).
