The Masters in Industrial Economics offers multidisciplinary training to unite advanced academic-oriented economics teaching and a focus on knowledge about the world of business. These two traditions, integrated in other countries such as the United States, are typically separated in the degrees offered in Spanish public and private universities, a major handicap in training professionals in the sphere of industrial economics.

The multidisciplinary nature of this Masters, drawing from knowledge from disciplines such as psychology, the economy, strategic business management and sociology, is useful not only to meet the above challenges but also to maximise success in the labour market

Due to its multidisciplinary profile, it is suitable for graduates in economics, business administration, financial and actuarial sciences, research and marketing techniques, mathematics, operative research and engineering

Contenido

Objectives
The general aims of the Masters are to train experts in the two most fundamental aspects of industrial economics: markets and organisations.Students will acquire the analytic tools needed to understand free and regulated market functioning.

This includes firstly identifying optimal business strategies that take into account strategic performance of market rivals and the development of competitive patterns. Secondly, it requires equipping the student for the quantitative study of the behaviour of agents and markets. This prepares the student to defend competition policies from the viewpoint of both companies and public administration.
