The Masters in Ethics and Democracy stems from the Doctorate in Ethics and Democracy, an inter-university collaboration since the year 2000-2001 between the University of Valencia and Universitat Jaume 1 de Castellón, which has been awarded the Mención de Calidad (hallmark of high quality) from the Ministry for Education and Science since 2004.

Career Opportunities
Within the field of philosophy, ethics and political philosophy are the topics that most interest society. This also applies to many other spheres, such as education, bioethics, scientific and political ethics, and economic and business ethics; areas that help direct behaviour and design models of democracy and citizenship, and also play a part in decision-making. Specialising, teaching, and research in these topics has clear social implications.

Any academic, scientific or professional organisation will benefit from specialists trained in the field of moral philosophy and politics, on any level from establishment to day-to-day functioning.
