About BUC
Buskerud University College is located in the south of Norway, in three different cities around Oslo: Kongsberg, Drammen and Hønefoss. Kongsberg is the main campus for technology and engineering studies. In Drammen you will find our health science faculty, teacher education, political science and design studies. Finally, in Hønefoss you will find our business administration and management studies.
We offer a broad range of degree programmes and diploma courses across various fields of study. We prepare our students for professional careers in public institutions, within health services, education and management, as well as for technical, financial and administrative positions in trade and industry.
English taught programs
At the present time, English taught courses are offered to exchange students within the fields of business administration/management, tourism, political science, engineering and visual communication.
MastersMaster degrees in English are offered in Systems Engineering, Human Rights and Optometry/Visual science. Master's programmes in Norwegian are offered within the fields of Business Management, Health sciences and Optometry.

NOKUT is a professionally independent government agency, with the mandate of conducting external quality assurance of higher education and tertiary vocational education and generally contribute towards the enhancement of educational quality. NOKUT’s mandate covers both Norwegian and foreign qualifications.
